Today's trip from KL to Singapore? Pretty good.
Took Aeroline coach as always, and since I was alone this time, I got a single seat. Which was good, because it's much more spacey compared to the double seats.
A picture of myself before we took off.
And the lunch, from the Chicken Rice Shop.
Yeah, didn't take much. Listened to MP3 and slept most of the time.

Yesterday morning, I went to Sunway Pyramid since I didn't have class. The place was very empty, which is very nice! I don't like a big crowd around. And so, I went over to Popular first by habit.
How I miss the Hardy Boys! It was my childhood favorite series of all time. Got me very into detective stuffs.
This was the very first book I read of the Hardy Boys, I believe.
I saw this, and I couldn't help laughing. It's a Chinese comic of Sherlock Holmes---yes, that is Holmes, with the golden hair. I believe I prefer the classic look.
I had the shock of my life when I saw this. Spiral novels, all 4 of them, in Chinese! ...Costing at about $60 in my currency. Ahhh. I've been searching for them in Singapore Kinokuniya, but all I got was Kyou Kara Maou.
And today, I went to KL Sentral to meet up with Lily. I was a bit early, so I wander about and took a random picture of the place. It's crowded, urgh.
Lily took me to her aunt's new cafe. The best mashed potatoes I ever had, and the burger was awesome! I love the buns, they were crispy! Go go go there if you haven't already, just go ask Lily!

I think I will change my title...it's too long, lol. Plus, I only converted this to a photo blog later, the title doesn't mean anything anymore. I'll think about it.
Anyway, I moved to the real hostel on Monday, got a whole room to myself! But I don't have anywhere to dry my clothes, and it was raining the whole day... I'm surprised by how good I am at improvising, haha.
The only down side to this is that I couldn't open the door, or close the window, which I need to do when it rained. In the end, I have the right end (door) tied to the bed post instead. Took more than 1 day to dry completely though.
I love the view from my window!!! Especially at night! Here's one with storm approaching first, because I really like the clouds. And the water was moving rapidly on the pond at the construction site, very nice. A bit blurry though.
An evening photo...love the misty feeling (I think it's haze though).
And then night view!!! I love city night views!!!
Finally, a cat I saw outside my hostel before I moved in. Because of it, I was sure everything will turn out fine that day. =)

Feet Position
It has only come to my attention last year when I stood in the MRT with my sister. She pointed out that the way my feet are positioned when I stand is...unique.
I was bored in school while waiting for people to leave our classroom. I don't know how people usually stand, but that's how I do. My sis commented about how flexible I am (even though I'm not as flexible as one of those gymnasts). So I tried something.
Well, I almost had one foot face the other way. I can do it, actually, but I needed my balance to take the picture. Standing with one foot facing the back is not steady.
But you know some cartoons, where the characters stand with their feet pointing sideways? I suggest imagining Bugs Bunny.

Last Wednesday, we stayed back at 5 to attend a revision class. We had a little pizza party right after, and it was really fun! Photos below taken with Ms Elsa's camera.
FIT1001 Computer System class photo with dear Ms Elsa. (Not everyone in there though.)
Girls only please! =) Yes, we are the only few girls in the boy-dominated class. Hurray for female lecturer too!

Singapore Design Festival 2007
My first post in Blogspot is on an exhibition! This one is Singapore Design Festival 2007 that was held in December at VivoCity.
It featured models of "floating" structures from around the world. Basically these structures are built on stilts, so they seem like they are in midair. And they are real structures!
Some of the models were too far away to take though, and if I took from the other side, I would be taking their behinds.
I can't remember the names of the structures though, because the labels were too far away to see and the words were very small. I was not allowed to enter into the exhibition area.
The models were really amazing, I hope to visit the real ones some day.
This is an actual city floating in midair!
This one is actually a library in Italy.
See? I didn't lie. It reads "European Library of Information and Culture, Milano, Italy".
Sorry if some looks blurry, I took them with my phone camera.
Lastly, one of my favorite structures.
